The Kind Clinician foundations program:
6 weeks self paced course
+ live coaching + Async feedback
Whether you're redesigning your therapy practice or building a portfolio career, the work starts with you—not the market's expectations.
February 9-march 16, 2026
You're clinically solid. Your life? That's another story.
You're good at the work, your clients are getting better, and you are in your therapeutic groove. Despite all of that something feels off. The structure around the work feels increasingly wrong, like those shoes that looked great in the store but pinch with every step.
Is your calendar full but you're fantasizing about cancellations?
Are you staying on insurance panels that make you want to scream into a pillow?
How many drafts of the same workshop outline for eight months have quite launched because there's always something more urgent?
Things need to shift and you know it…You start collecting solutions. Business podcasts during your commute. Instagram saves full of therapist coaches promising six figure freedom. Browser tabs with half finished courses. A notes app graveyard of ideas that sparked excitement at 11pm but looked impossible by morning.
Underneath all of it there is this quiet feeling: What if I'm just bad at this? What if everyone else figured out how to make private practice sustainable and I'm the only one white knuckling through it?
You're not bad at business. The frameworks you know aren’t built for actual human therapists with actual human lives. They were built for hustle culture, for scale-at-all-costs, for people who apparently don't need sleep or have bodily functions or want to see their families.
Burnout isn't a character flaw. It's what happens when you try to sustain the unsustainable.
the kind clinician foundations course
a life + practice design framework that remembers your humanity
February 9-march 16
6 weeks
$447
calls on 2/9, 2/23, and 3/16 @ Noon cst
This is a 6 week intensive where we are doing the work most therapists skip: the deep internal excavation that has to happen before tactics. You can learn all the marketing strategies in the world, but if you don't know what you're actually building or why, you'll just be executing someone else's vision with your own energy. Foundations gives you the clarity and structure to design from the inside out. You will walk away with a vision of what's possible when you stop trying to retrofit yourself into templates that were never built for you.
what you get:
Your cup will be filled with inspiration, education, and connection.
-
Dates:
Monday 2/9/26 @ 12pm CST
Monday 2/23/26 @ 12pm CST
Monday 3/16/26 @ 12pm CSTAll calls will be recorded and available for replay. A collective Q+A so we can learn from each other!
-
Each Monday a new module will drop. Workbook, video and audio versions of the material will be included. Education, prompts, and exercises that you can submit for feedback.
-
Each week you will be able to submit your work from the lesson or an item related (webpage, etc) for me to review and give feedback about. I will also be in the community giving feedback 2x a week!
-
Everyone participating will be like minded clinicians with audacious goals in mind. The community will be a place to pick each other’s brains, share your wins, and relate on the multilayered experience of being a clinician.
the kind approach
to life + practice design
-
Self Awareness & Compassionate Call Out
Learn to gather concrete data about your current practice reality—not what you think "should" be happening, but what's actually true right now.
Audit your actual numbers (revenue, expenses, take home pay)
Map your real schedule (not your ideal one)
Identify burnout patterns in your practice structure
Uncover your clinical strengths and natural expertise
Name your "golden handcuffs"—what you're maintaining out of fear
Discover your "unknown lore"—the work you love that no one knows about
Clarify your values beyond "helping people"
You'll leave with: Clear data on where you are now, what's draining you, and what patterns need to change.
-
Imagining Your Ideal Week + Clients
Design what you actually want—not what you "should" want.
What you'll do:
Design your ideal week structure (schedule, session load, time off)
Define your ideal client characteristics (who energizes you?)
Create space for ease in your practice design
Identify where you're creating unnecessary friction
Map the gap between current and ideal
You'll leave with: A clear vision of what your next-iteration practice could look like.
-
Addressing Beliefs, Limitations + Capacity
This is the bridge between awareness and action—where we address what's actually blocking you from building the practice you designed.
The beliefs keeping you stuck ("good therapist" narratives, martyrdom culture)
Capacity reality checks (what's actually possible given your life context)
Permission giving and reframes
Fear vs. evidence
Obstacles to implementation
You'll leave with: Clear eyed understanding of what needs to shift internally before external changes can stick.
-
Voice + Positioning
How do you talk about your work in a way that feels true AND attracts the clients you actually want?
Find your authentic clinical voice
Position your practice clearly (without generic language)
Overcome "good therapist" messaging that dilutes your brand
Claim your expertise publicly
Address the fear of being "too specific"
You'll leave with: A draft of how you would describe your practice that actually reflects who you want to work with.
-
Offer Refinement + Pricing
Design offers and pricing that support the life you want—not just what the market demands.
Create a service menu aligned with your energy and values
Develop a pricing strategy that honors your worth
Design a sustainable business model
Address money beliefs and pricing fears
Map revenue goals to lifestyle goals
You will leave with: An offer menu and pricing structure you can actually implement.
-
Turn everything you learned into a concrete action plan you can actually follow.
Create your 3 month implementation roadmap
Prioritize which changes come first
Identify obstacles and build support structures
Decide: Do you need ongoing support?
You'll leave with: A clear, sequenced plan for the next several months and a decision about how you will remain accountable.
Meet Your Guide: From Radio to Therapy to brand strategist
I'm a licensed therapist (TN: LPC-MHSP) with 10 years of clinical experience in group and private practice. I'm also a keynote speaker, the creator of Nine to Kind (a therapy informed planner company that's sold 1,000+ products), a podcast host (currently on pause because balance), and a brand strategist who's been in ongoing business coaching since 2021.
But before I ever sat in the therapy chair, I fulfilled my childhood dream of becoming a radio DJ and broadcaster. Turns out, giving away concert tickets and introducing Puddle of Mudd is only so impactful. (Who knew?)
Almost 15 years later, I'm bridging my marketing knowledge, brand building, clinical work, and product development to help therapists build businesses that don't slowly drain their souls.
Why? Because burnout is systemic, and we're all out here maintaining those systems like unpaid interns for capitalism. Being a therapist doesn’t protect us from the impacts of that. The same helping patterns that make us excellent therapists? They're also the patterns that cause us to overextend, undercharge, and accept "exposure" as payment.
It's time to give yourself the same care you give your clients. Not as self care theater, but as business strategy.
I've built this path—the sustainable one, holding the realities of honoring our capacity while ensuring we keep consistent income. Now I'm showing other therapists how to do it too.
you're ready to actually build

You're tired of collecting trainings you never implement
You want to establish a personal brand without feeling gross about marketing

This is NOT for you if…
You want someone to build your business for you
You want quick hacks or viral growth strategies
You're not ready to actually implement (still in the "someday" phase)
You need immediate results to justify the investment
You're looking for clinical supervision or therapy
You expect 24/7 access or instant responses
You need a course you can purchase and then ignore
FAQs
How is this different from other business programs?
We address the therapist specific stuff other programs skip: golden handcuffs, imposter syndrome, helper patterns, eldest daughter conditioning, the weird relationship we have with money. You will get concrete on structure and pricing while honoring the reality of being a human therapist with a human life.
will this work if i’m not in private practice yet?
If you are 2-3 years post graduation…yes—whether you're agency + side practice or already full time private. If you are brand new and without seeing clients yet, wait. You need clinical experience first.
How much time does this actually take?
3-4 hours per week:
Lesson (30-45 min)
Workbook (1-2 hours)
Check In Submission: (15-30 min)
3 X 90minute calls total over six weeks.
Community engagement encouraged but optional.
Designed for working therapists. It's doable while also recognizing it is something else on your plate.
will this pay for itself?
If you implement:
$10 rate increase per session = paid back in one month
One $500 workshop = immediate ROI
Leaving a draining insurance panel = priceless (and profitable).
You do the work, it pays for itself.
What if I realize I don't want private practice after all?
Better to figure that out now than waste years building something that makes you miserable. It will not be a wash because we also discuss personal branding and building a portfolio career, something you will need no matter what setting you are operating in.
Do I have to be on camera?
No. Calls are optional (but encouraged) and recorded. You can participate via chat inside the community. Async check ins are written submissions with audio feedback. This works well for introverts!
This is a real investment—in time, money, and vulnerability.
You're not just buying access to resources. You're committing to showing up, building alongside other therapists, and getting feedback on your actual work. That takes courage!
